The Revenance of the ghosts, of the separations and contact. The Revenance of fiction, of stories, of the history.
Stepping the frontiers between ghost logic and virtual technologies.
Ghost, fantasies, present and absent images.
At night, the contact of the infra-mince of our skin.
Bewitching our distances and solitudes.
Proposing the viewer an N.D.E. (Near Dead Experience) as a love story(ies).
An apartment, a closed space, somewhere.
Somebody falls on the ground. Night grows around him. His hand (is) still.
The phone rings. Nobody answers.
Pictures on the surface of a screen. The memory of a life, pictures of anonymous persons which seems to belong to another time.
All this has already happened.
Another world can start.
He falls into an empty space, without walls, ground, ceilling.Only lines that can be crossed.
A chair standing next to a distant bed. Windows. An exit door.
He has to walk a distance to get in contact with the objects.
From time to time, for a moment, he is bewitched. The space turns back, twists. Without willing, he moves, something makes him move. As if he possessed.
He goes through the chair, a man smokes a cigarette. The smoke gets in contact with his body.
On the bed, a woman touches her back, her skin.
In the window, other windows. Clouds and snow of a television. two lights projected. With some attention he can imagine nondescriptive shapes.
Now he goes up. He passes this nonexistent ceiling and sees the room from above. A women faces that keeps on repeating, that keeps on changing, as if divided in two.
He moves back down. Volutes moving into space. In them he sees the same face. He traverses them or is he being traversed by them : a woman and a man, whose face he will never sees are walking in the direction of the other, they caress and hold each other, separate, sometimes the woman seems to be lonely.
She relates a story to him. with occasional odd words, the story she lived with a man, one she wants to live, that she will live. He won't know.
He decides to go elsewhere. The exitdoor. Outside, a city devastated by an earthquake or another time war. The pictures seems to date from the XIXth century. It unveil faces, children, women, men. He doesn't know their name, he only reckons they are dead. He moves down.
He falls into another space. The chair, the bed, windows, the woman faces, etc. Everything looks alike but the layout of the space isn't the same, the items aren't exactly at the same place. He continues and sees other women, other images. He wanders through the rooms, one after the other. By passing the exit door, or by descending. the rooms follow one another or below one another. He still moves down.
